Age Groups

• Up to 7 — born in or after 2019
• Up to 9 — born in 2017 and 2018
• Up to 11 — born in 2015 and 2016
• Up to 13 — born in 2013 and 2014
• Up to 15 — born in 2011 and 2012
• Up to 18 — born in 2008, 2009 and 2010
• Over 18 — born in or before 2007

Prizes

Trophies for all first places; certificates, medals and material prizes for all finalists.

For dance couples — competitors over 18 (Latin and Standard) taking part in the "Freedom to Dance" Cup — trophies, medals and prize money for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the combined ranking of each style.

Dance Formats by Age and Level, with a Compulsory Dance Combination

First Steps — Solo, Couples and Synchro Duo

• "First Steps" for solo and couples (age groups Up to 7 – Over 13): Cha-Cha-Cha, Slow Waltz.
• Synchro Duo, Basic 2 level — Up to 9: Cha-Cha-Cha, Jive; Up to 13 and Over 13: Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jive.
• Synchro Duo, Open level — Up to 9: Cha-Cha-Cha, Jive; Up to 13 and Over 13: Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jive.

Couples and Solo — Basic 1 and Basic 2 Levels

With a chosen dance discipline and level.

• Basic 1 — Up to 7, Up to 9, Up to 11, Up to 13 and Over 13: Latin — Cha-Cha-Cha, Jive (plus Rumba from age 11); Standard — Slow Waltz, Quickstep (plus Tango from age 11).
• Basic 2 — Up to 9, Up to 11 and Up to 13: Latin — Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jive; Standard — Slow Waltz, Tango, Quickstep. Up to 15: + Samba, + Viennese Waltz. Over 15: + Paso Doble, + Slow Foxtrot.

"Freedom to Dance" Cup — Solo and Couples, Open Level

With dances of your choice; applies equally to Solo and Couples:

• Up to 11 and Up to 15 — Latin: Samba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jive; Standard: Slow Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep.
• Up to 18 and Over 18 — Latin: Samba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive; Standard: Slow Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep.

Pro-Am Category

• With an amateur participant up to 15 — Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba and Jive.
• With an amateur participant over 15 — Samba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba and Jive.

In the Pro-Am category, only the amateur participant is assessed. The "professional" is the partnering dance teacher or competitor who has taken part in official DanceSport competitions and holds a dance class of "C" or higher.

Formations Category

Age groups: Up to 9, Up to 13, Over 13.

Participants may be girls and boys. There are no restrictions on the type of dances, the number of dances used or costumes in any age group. Children from an older age group may take part, but they must not exceed 20% of the team. Formations perform to their own music, no longer than 2:30 min.

Synchro Groups Category

Age groups: Up to 9, Up to 13, Over 13.

The group dances in synchrony throughout, with no regrouping or changes of formation. Participants may be girls and boys. There are no restrictions on the type of dances, the number of dances used or costumes in any age group. Children from an older age group may take part, but they must not exceed 20% of the group. Groups perform to their own music, no longer than 2:30 min.

Notes

• Solo competitions are open to girls and boys.
• Competitors who dance in couples may also dance solo.
• Dancers from "First Steps" couples may also enter solo competitions, but only in the "First Steps" category.
• Competitors may dance each style at a different level (e.g. LAT — Basic 2, STD — Basic 1). This does not apply to "First Steps".
• Competitors may take part in an older age category.
• Dancers' costumes must fully respect ethical standards and good taste, and must suit the dance style being performed.
• Dancewear must fully cover the intimate areas of the body at all times during the performance, regardless of the dance movements.
• Skin-coloured briefs, bras or other garments that create the visual illusion of nudity in the intimate areas are not allowed.
• In all categories up to age 9 (Children Mini and Juveniles 1), make-up and shiny hair decorations are not allowed.
• In the Open level ("Freedom to Dance" Cup — Solo and Couples), participants choose their dances, with a full ranking and preliminary rounds. In all other categories, finals of up to 8 participants are formed depending on the number of entries, with a full ranking in each final (1st to 8th place).

Provisional Programme

• The programme is provisional! After registration, a detailed programme with times for all categories will be published.
• At the organiser's discretion, categories and/or age groups may be merged.
• Competitors without silicone heel protectors will not be allowed to compete.
• Spilling water or any other liquids on or around the dance floor is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in financial penalties!

Entries

Entry deadline: 18.02.2026. No entries will be accepted after the deadline.

Late entries that change the pre-prepared programme are subject to a 50% surcharge on the fees above.
